Beloved wife of Donald Engelhard for 61 years Jane Engelhard passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Mason Christian Village. Born, raised, and married in Oak Park, Illinois, she was a graduate of Beloit College. She and her family moved to Kenwood in 1966, residing later in Montgomery and Mason. Loving mother of Kathy Coates, David Engelhard, Sally Reinders, the late Bruce Engelhard and their spouses; grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. "Miss Jane" was a loving, caring, and fun pre-school teacher for 25 years at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Kenwood. For more than 40 years Jane was an active member at local, state and national levels of the T.T.T Society, which sends young girls to summer camp. For many years she was active in the Salvation Army Toy Shop Auxiliary and as an aide in Camp Stepping Stones children's swimming program. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM, Saturday, November 22, with memorial service following at 11 AM in the chapel of Mason Christian Village Centre, 411 Western Row Road, Mason, OH 45040. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Association, Christian Benevolent Association, Crossroads Hospice or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
