Jane Alicia Fischer Thielmeyer, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died Saturday, July 22, 2023, at age 101. She was born January 11, 1922, to James Campbell Fischer and Alice Catherine Ivey Fischer. Jane was a 1939 graduate of Walnut Hills High School. She was a talented seamstress and took great joy in her flower gardens. A lifelong member of St. Mathews Evangelical Church, which became a part of Fleming Road UCC, she was a passionate philanthropist of charitable works for children and the needy. An only child the greatest joy of her life was the large family she shared with her beloved husband Elmer William Thielmeyer. The couple wed on July 17, 1940, at St. Mathews Evangelical Church in Elmwood Place. He proceeded her in death on June 18, 1982. The couple shared seven children. Nancy (Nicholas) Pantel and Susan (Jim) Suder proceeded her in death. She is survived by Linda (Paul) Ritchie, Greg (Lorraine) Thielmeyer, Donnie (Margie) Thielmeyer, Debbie Kirschner and April (Paul) Huguenin. Also surviving her are 18 grandchildren, John (Ana) Pantel, Jenny (Rick) Stevens, Chris Pantel, Alex (Julie) Pantel, Robert (Amy) Suder, Jaclyn (Terry) Emerson, Jayne Tomlin, Daniel Ritchie, Carrie (Carl) Stambaugh, Kyle Thielmeyer, Randi (Jason) Wittenberg, Alison (Justin) James, Geoff (Holly) Thielmeyer, Joshua Ritchie, Kathryn (Nicholas) Schneider, Sean Michael (Denise) Campbell, Jessica Kirschner, and Christian Campbell, along with 22 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023, at the Fleming Road United Church of Christ, 691 Fleming Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. followed by a brief service from 11:45-12:15 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45242. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fleming Road UCC, Hospice of Cincinnati, or Valley Interfaith Food and Clothing Center, 420 West Wyoming Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45215.
