ABSHER, Janet (nee Hott), beloved wife of the late Artie Absher. Dear mother of Danny (Dorie Vest) Absher and Donna (David) Baur. Grandmother of Amanda Absher, Katie (Jimmy) Tierney, Seth (Annie) Baur, Emily (Nick) Mercer and Silas Baur. Great-grandmother of Beau Mercer. Dear sister of Jean (Bobby) Barber. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the age of 80. Visitation will be held at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, on Sunday, Feb. 21 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. Donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
