Jason Woodward

d. June 12, 2022

Jason Woodward, 46, passed away unexpectedly in his residence in Maineville, Ohio on June 12, 2022. He was survived by daughter Audrey Woodward, father Hugh Woodward, stepfather Kevin Purcell, and was proceeded by his loving mother, Suzanne Purcell. He was a dearly beloved father, son, and friend to many.

Jason was a lifelong adventurer yet always had a love for his home. Spending time with his family and dogs was his favorite part of life. He had a passion for learning and exploring and would often embark on local adventures with his daughter that included fossil hunting, bike riding, and, of course, riding roller coasters. Jason also had a passion for sports, especially the University of Cincinnati Bearcats.

Jason was known by all to be the brightest star in the room. He was the person who could make you feel comfortable and welcome as well as make you laugh. Jason also had a true talent for logistics. A fast thinker, he could invent efficient and innovative practices to implement in the personal and work world around him. He also had a passion for writing and strongly valued the weight and emotion that words carry. He took great care in expressing himself through the written word and thought deeply about every card he gifted.

Jason’s big heart and brilliant mind were like no other. He will be missed deeply by all. We know that he has found peace and love, reuniting with his mother and best friend, Suzanne, and his past dogs.

Jason will be laid to rest in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, Ohio. A private ceremony will take place with the family and close friends.
