With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our beloved, Jay Lloyd King, A devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and the hardest worker we all knew. Survived by his loving wife Maria, daughters Jasmine Ira and Elena, his only grandson Tanner, mother Judy, stepfather James, and siblings Jeffery Jason and Jodi. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph King.
After graduating from Miami Trace High School, Jay proudly served 6 years in the U.S. Navy as a cryptologic technician. For 28 years, Jay was a dedicated employee of Coca-Cola, where he made a meaningful impact on his colleagues and community. His service to our country was a source of great pride, and he will always be remembered for his dedication and sacrifice.
He filled our lives with laughter and unwavering love, and he should be known by his genuine kindness and compassion. Jay touched the lives of everyone he met. He loved outings with his family, comedy shows, trips back home to the Philippines and The Ohio State University football. His time on earth was dedicated to his wife and daughters, and though our hearts ache, we find comfort in our faith knowing we will see him again. Rest in God’s eternal peace, Jay.
You will be deeply missed, but forever in our hearts.
