DONOVAN, Mary “Jean” (nee Rosselot) died in the early hours of Monday, October 3. She is survived by eight children: Pattie (David) Sherrill, Jeanie LeRoy, Bill (Jayne), Kevin, Eileen (Jim) Barrett, Terry (Linda), Bridget (Phil) Sheehey, and Cissy (Bruce) Eyre. Jean’s spirit will live on in her 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Her sisters, Blanche and Mary Ellen, and brother, Jack, are deceased. She was born in Glendale and attended St. Gabriel’s School, and married her lifelong classmate, Bill, after he returned from WWII. They were married for sixty-two years when he passed away in 2007. They lived in Greenhills for most of their lives until moving into assisted living about six years ago. Jean will be best remembered for her optimism and positive outlook. Even in her last days, she had a sunny disposition, and never lost her sense of humor. Visitation at Our Lady of the Rosary Church 17 Farragut Rd., Greenhills Saturday from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
