SMITH, Jeffrey H., loving father of Lauren Nicole Smith and Morgan Marie Smith. Dear brother of Terrance James (Debbie) Smith, Nancy Elizabeth Smith and Christopher Blake (Ashley) Smith. Beloved son of Barbara Ann and the late Donald Eugene Smith. Jeffrey is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. He attended St. Peter’s High School in Mansfield, OH and Walsh College in Canton, OH.

“Smitty” was a big-hearted, fun-loving, full of life character. You could always catch him wearing his backwards Ohio State hat or sporting a pastel polo button down. He had a life-long love affair with peanut M&M’s, chocolate chip cookies and cold glasses of milk. He might have been Van Halen’s biggest fan, but only for the David Lee Roth years and he was a life-long Cleveland Indian’s and Brown’s fan (unfortunately). He was a sports enthusiast and history buff. He was truly a “big kid” with a heart of gold. We will remember him for his smile, his laugh, his energy, his “smitty-ism’s” his love for life, family and friends that were family.

Jeffrey passed away February 13, 2016 at the age of 54. Memorial visitation will be held at Good Shepard Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249, Friday, February 19, 2016 from 10 AM to 12 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow the memorial visitation at 12 PM.
