April 14, 1962 — February 18, 2025

Cincinnati

Jeffrey T. Oakley, age 62, of Cincinnati passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Luebbe) Oakley, with whom he shared 25 wonderful years of marriage.

Jeff was born to William and Dorothy Oakley and grew up his siblings Dave (Linda) Oakley, Cindy (Tom) Martin, and Michael (Joni) Oakley with a deep respect for hard work and family values, traits that shaped his life and legacy. Following in his father’s footsteps, he dedicated much of his career to Dehli Foundry and then Elite Core Company, where he worked with great pride and commitment.

In addition to his work, Jeff was a loving father and devoted grandfather. He leaves behind his children, Rachael Oakley, Brian Beiting, Emily (Dan) Herchline, Megan Beiting, and Kristen Bolinger. He was a proud grandfather to Quinn and Julia, whose bright smiles brought him immense joy. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who cherished his kind, giving spirit.

Jeff had a passion for coaching, especially girls’ softball, where he found great joy in mentoring and supporting young athletes. His legacy of coaching will be remembered by many who benefitted from his guidance both on and off the field.

Jeff’s love for his family, his generosity, and his commitment to those around him will never be forgotten. His warmth, humor, and wisdom will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

A service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Saint Bartholomew Church at 9375 Winton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231. Visitation will begin at 9:30am and Mass at 10:30am followed by a celebration at the Oakley’s home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Tunnels to Towers.

May he rest in peace.
