BOSCH, Jeffrey William. Beloved son of Shirley (nee Meyers) and the late Gerald Bosch. Loving brother of Julie (Rick) Lerman and Lori (Doug) Gravett. Dear uncle of Scott (Kerrie) Lerman, Jake Lerman, Kali (Mark) Berens and Danny (Kelsey Debord) Gravett. Great-uncle of Quinn, William and Ryli. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to say a special thank you to the countless members of special care teams that cared for Jeff over the years, especially the caregivers and staff at the Monon House. Jeff passed away November 26, 2021 at the age of 58. Visitation will take place at the Hodapp Funeral Home 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Friday from 5PM until 7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. James of the Valley 411 Springfield Pike, Wyoming, Saturday at 11AM. HEAVEN’S VERY SPECIAL CHILDREN
A meeting was held quite far from Earth,
“It’s time again for another birth.”
Said the angels to the Lord above,
“This special child will need much love.”
“His progress may be very slow,
Accomplishments he may not show.
And he’ll require extra care
From the folks he meets down there.”
“He may not run or laugh or play,
His thoughts may seem quite far away.
In many ways he won’t adapt,
And he’ll be known as ‘Handicapped’.”
“So let’s be careful where he’s sent.
We want his life to be content.
Please, Lord, find the parents who
Will do a special job for you.”
“They will not realize right away
The leading role they are asked to play.
But with this child sent from above
Comes stronger faith and richer love.”
“And soon they’ll know the privilege given
In caring for their special gift from Heaven.
Their precious charge, so meek and mild,
Is heaven’s very special child.”
