He enjoyed so many of the simple things in life that most of us take for granted. He loved the outdoors, fishing and sitting around a bonfire. He was always acting silly and making people laugh, his laugh was one that if you heard it, you had to laugh along. He loved animals and if he could he would fill his house with every stray he saw. There was never a kid that did not like Jerry. Underneath his tough exterior was a side only few were lucky enough to know. He had the biggest heart and was very sentimental. To see him with his daughter when she was little you knew how proud and happy he was without saying a word. He would do anything for his family no matter what. As a big brother, he was always willing to take the wrap for his younger brother and was always there to protect his little sister. As an uncle he was the type no matter what it was or how silly he looked, if his nephew asked, he did it. He was very lucky in life to have found his true love and from day one you knew he was a changed man and would be with her forever. In his 45 years the one thing that never changed, not even for a minute, was the love for his mom. He would move heaven and earth for her if he could. He was a Momma's boy in every sense of the word and was very proud of it. They had a bond that would never be broken, a relationship only few mothers are lucky enough to have. His beautiful blue eyes and smile will live in the hearts of so many forever. There is no doubt he will now rest by his mother's side as he did here on earth whispering these four words, " Mom, I got this."
