Grandfather of Melody Hess, Maryann Carter, Nichole Carter, Cheyenne Carter, Foster Carter, Lyndsay and Dylan Beeson. Step-father of Tammy Wilkerson and Tobie Jean Voils. Step-grandfather of Taylor Hutchison and Emma Voils. Brother of Lois Ann Hess and the late Gilmer and Jack Hess. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
