Jesse L. Jones Jr.

Jesse L. Jones, Jr., 89, passed away in his sleep on Saturday, December 2, 2017
at Heritagespring Nursing Home, West Chester, Ohio.
Jesse was born July 27, 1928, in Crab Orchard, Kentucky to Jesse L.
and Mendia Jones.  He grew up in the Cincinnati area, with five
brothers and two sisters.  Jesse was a graduate of Sycamore High
School, served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and was a long-time
resident of Mason, Ohio.  He attended Montgomery Community Church.
Jesse was a Christian, good man, very generous, loyal friend, loving
son & father, and an avid Mason High School basketball fan.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 66 years, Ann
S. Jones, his sister Theda Hudson & brother Don Jones.  He is survived
by daughter Pamela J. Whyman, son Christopher W. Jones; grandchildren
Mira Whyman, Michelle Whyman, and John Whyman, Steven W. Jones, Corey
A. Jones, Emma K. Jones & Lacy A. Jones, sister Opal Madden, brothers
Ray Jones, Harold Jones, Paul D. Jones & Bill Jones, and many nieces &
nephews.

The family expresses their gratitude to Heritagespring Nursing Home
and Hospice of Southwest Ohio for the loving care given to Jesse.  A
celebration of Jesse's life will be held from 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December
6, 2017 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd, West
Chester, Ohio, with burial following at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason,
