SCHLEF, Joan L. (nee Iker). Beloved wife of Edward J. Schlef, Sr. for 64 years. Dear mother of Edward J. (Karen) Schlef, Jr., Ronald C. (Deborah) Schlef and the late Steven W. Schlef. Daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Lillian Iker. Sister of Charles (the late Patricia) Iker, Jr. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Joan will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Passed away Friday, July 3, 2015, at age 85. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Thursday from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc. or American Heart Assoc.
