Joan Marie Tessarolo

TESSAROLO, Joan Marie, age 75, was born on April 26, 1939 in Chicago, IL and passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014. Joan was preceded in death by her parents Elda (Martini) and Reno Tessarolo. Also by her dearest friend Judith Sander. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Barbara (Antognoli) Tessarolo, her nieces Joan (Joel) Kessler and Cindy Tessarolo. She was also a special aunt to Richard Sander, Beth (Michael) Day, Anthony (Emily) Sander, Michael Sander (Steve Swantko), Joseph (Amy) Sander and Kate Sander. Her great nieces and nephews, Nathan, Emma, Seth and Rebecca Kessler, Bryan, Jason, Mitchell, Herny, Evan, Emma and Lucy Sander, Cooper and Joseph Day. Joan was an excellent educator who touched the lives of many children both in the classroom and as principal of several schools in the Cincinnati area. She also served the Archdiocese of Cincinnati as an education supervisor. Following her retirement she continued to work at Mother Teresa School in West Chester, OH. Joan's life will be celebrated at a liturgy at Mt. Notre Dame Convent's chapel on Saturday, December 6th at 3:00pm. Visitation will precede the service from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
