JoAnn Janszen (nee Dunhoft), 80 years old, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Bayley Place, following a six year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born May 11, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (Kresser) Dunhoft.

During her fight against Alzheimer’s, JoAnn was cared for by the loving nurses at Bayley Place. JoAnn found much enjoyment from her devoted caregivers who kept her active with scenic car rides, playing bingo, lunch along the river and Fernbank Golf Course, visits to the viewing area at the airport, and a local farm to watch and feed animals.
