John F. Meiners

John Francis Meiners, aged 67, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on November 25, 2024, in the city where he was born and spent his life.

Born on May 31, 1957, to Rita Meiners (née Geers) and Edward Meiners Jr., John was one of six siblings. He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Chris Geoppinger (Gerry) ,Gerri Meiners (Gery Homan), Ed Meiners III (Jenny), and Joe Meiners (Dawn). He is predeceased by his sister, Kate Meiners.

John was the proud Dad of three children: Jena Verbeck (Justin), Lee Meiners (Jennifer), and Michael Atoyan (Samantha). He was also a beloved grandpa to six grandchildren: Sophia, Hayden, Cohen, Shilo, Ayla, and Levi. John shared a special bond with his cherished cat, Truman, who was always by his side.

A business owner, John was known for his lighthearted nature and his unwavering dedication to making people laugh. He had a passion for reading and a gift for bringing joy to others, remaining a kid at heart throughout his life.

John was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, a group he valued as part of his community connections.

A visitation will be held at St. Bartholomew Church on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM. His final resting place will be at St. Mary Cemetery.
