John Arthur Shaffner

John Arthur Shaffner, beloved husband of 65 years to Bitsy Shaffner, devoted father of Brad (Kim) Shaffner, Bob Shaffner, Sandy Shaffner Arulf and Curt Shaffner, cherished grandfather of Chris (Anna) Shaffner, Alex Arulf, Tyler Shaffner, Taylor Arulf (Michael) Avidano, Ryan Shaffner, Erik Arulf, Lindsey Shaffner and Kelly Shaffner, loving great grandfather of Bonnie Shaffner, Diana Shaffner and Emma Shaffner. John served in the United States Navy on the USS Pickaway and retired in 1989 after a 32 year career at Proctor & Gamble. Passed away December 28 at age of 88. A Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt 42) West Chester, OH 45069 from 5 p.m. until the time of a Memorial Service at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Mr. Shaffner’s name to the American Heart Association.
