John W. Holzmacher, preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Patricia E. Holzmacher and his second wife Dee Holzmacher. Loving father of Lois (Tom) Brigger, Mark (Melanie) Holzmacher, Julie (Jeff) Hale, Mike (Missy) Holzmacher, John (Susan) Holzmacher and Amy (Mike) Zwick. Grandfather of Matt (Kate), Michael (Kary) and Lauren Brigger; Tim (Maranda) And Andrew Holzmacher; Jeremy, Ryan and the late Ashley Hale; Brittany, Meghan and Olivia Holzmacher; Sophie, Jill and Kara Zwick. Great-grandfather of Hailey, Nathan and Ethan Brigger; Mason, Carson and Kacey Brigger; Livia Brigger; Brantley and Avery Holzmacher; Bella Hale; Aubrey and Noah Zwick. Brother of the late Dick Holzmacher. Son of the late John and Ella Holzmacher. John worked for John Crane Packing Company and retired after 40 years. He loved the White Sox, Notre Dame football, golf, wood working and trains. John was a long-time little league baseball coach for the Finneytown Athletic Association, a member of the Queen City N’gineers Train Club and was involved in the St. Susanna Young at Heart Committee. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020, at St. Susanna Church at 11 a.m. A live stream link to the Mass will be posted to this site.
