Joseph Giese, 84, a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed away on February 21, 2025. Born on September 27, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Joe was a man of unwavering strength, kindness, and a personality that could fill any room. 

Joe’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was his family. For 45 years, he shared a deep and loving marriage with his wife, Linda Giese (nee Chiricosta), built on laughter, resilience, and unwavering support. He was a proud and devoted father to his children, Megan Giese (Josh Cole) and David Giese. Joe was the brother of the late Al Zinsmeister and Anna Mae Conners, brother-in-law of David Chiricosta, Paula Chiricosta, Mary (Kean) Crank, and the late Sandy (Marinus) Klocke, and uncle to several nieces and nephews. 

He will be remembered for his big heart, his enduring strength, and his ability to make those around him feel special. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love and lessons he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. 

A private service to honor Joe’s life will be held on February 28th at Spring Grove Cemetery.
