Joseph W. Howell

HOWELL, Joseph W. (age 79), devoted husband of Nan, dear father of Roger (Kathryn) Howell, Jeffrey (Cynthia) Howell, Susan (David) Chin and Sandra (Bob) Williams, also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, brother of John Carr. Passed peacefully on Monday Jan. 5, 2015. Joseph was a special education teacher for 30 years and longtime member of the Masonic Lodge N.C. Harmony #2. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage Wednesday, January 7, 6-8pm and funeral service Thursday January 8, at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Springfield Masonic Home, Diabetes, Cancer Society, or Hartwell Presbyterian Church.
