Reed, Joyce A. “Joy” (nee Hobbs), beloved wife of Melvin Reed for 63 years. Dear sister of Harold Hobbs, Verna Boyd, Jana Meabon, Phyllis Cox, and the late Carmen Hobbs, Madge Hobbs, Carl Hobbs, and Doris Gregory. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Passed away August 30, 2014 at the age of 82. Visitation will be held at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday at the Carthage Church of the Nazarene, 65th St. and Fairpark Ave., 45216 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 Noon.
