Juanita “Nita” Soergel (nee Sorg)

Beloved wife of the late Fred Soergel, loving mother of Judy Jackson and Jan (Ralph) Mitchell, dear grandmother of MA1 Jackson, Johnny L III and William Mitchell, survived by a host of great-grandchildren, sister of Tom, Dan, Paul and the late William, Robert and Earl Sorg.

Nita passed away peacefully on Saturday January 11 at the age of 99. She was a proud WWII veteran serving in the Women’s Army Corps working with our returning POW’s. As an active member of St. Bartholomew Church, she made over 5,000 rosaries for the missions, was sacristan, part of Martha’s Ministries and sacristan for all funerals. She “took care of God’s House” for more years than they can count.

Visitation at St. Bartholomew Church, 9375 Winton Rd., 45231 on Friday January 17, 2025 from 10 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
