Judith (Judy) Lynn Haller, age 76, went to be with Jesus on September 26, 2023. Born on March 4, 1947 to Harvey & Ella May Borders, Judy spent her childhood and young adulthood in Ashland, Kentucky. She was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan. She married the love of her life, Barry Haller, on April 15, 1967. Shortly after, she moved with her family to Middletown, Ohio. She would spend most of the rest of her life in the greater Cincinnati area.
Judy loved to play bridge, visit with friends and family, support the Cincinnati Reds, and was heavily involved in her church. She loved her annual Disney World trips with her family, as some of the best moments and memories came from these times.
Judy was lovingly referred to as Nana by her four grandkids. Some of their favorite things to do together included almost weekly dinners at Friday’s, Red Robin, and Texas Roadhouse, summer trips to the Cone, and thousands of sleepovers. Nana will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her unbelievably kind and patient manner, her love for teddy bears and Mickey Mouse, and especially her love for the Lord. Nana has now been reunited with her husband in heaven.
She is survived by her sister, Jean Borders Lemaster, her two children, Brad (Amie) Haller and Jennifer Haller, and her four grandchildren, Nathaniel, Sophia, Benjamin, and Lilyanna Haller. She also leaves a sister-in-law, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Nana, we love and miss you so much. We’re so happy you get to be with Grandpa again and we can’t wait to see you again someday.
