Judith "Judy" Bach

Judith W. Bach (nee Cygal) was born June 26, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois. Judy is preceded in death by her parents Peter Cygal and Josephine Cygal (nee Pezzopane), her brother Peter, and her son Timothy. She is succeeded by her husband of 59 years of marriage, Daniel N. Bach, her children son Daniel (Chip) Bach Jr. (Kendra), daughter Deborah Rice (Jay), and daughter Nicole Moore (Thom); her grandchildren Mathew Rice, John (Ben) Rice, Caroline Rice, Nicholas Bach, Emma Bach, Timothy Moore, and Daniel Moore; her sister Joan Krohn, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Judy was born and raised in Chicago, Il. She had a very successful and interesting career in the horse racing and airline industries. She was the Sales Director for Group Sales for the Red Mile in Lexington, Ky., and for Hawthorne Race Course, in the Chicago area. This experience then led to her joining United Airlines, where she became a part of the Special Services Group in which she dealt with United’s corporate customers, VIP’s, and special dignitaries.

After living 26 years in Wayne, Il., Judy and her husband moved to Liberty Township, Ohio In 2021. After a 9 month battle with cancer and other health related issues, Judy passed on December 18, 2021.

Her professional successes were very gratifying to her, however, her most significant achievement, and her legacy will be her dedication to her family, and life-long friends. She was the rock around which the family was built.

A visitation will be held at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., Liberty Township, OH, 45044 on Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 6 PM until 8 PM and on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 9:30AM until 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian  burial will take place Monday, at 11 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45011.

In lieu of flowers the family would suggest a donation to the St. Jude Hospital which held a special place in Judy’s heart.
