Judith Maloney

Judith (Judy) Kathryn Maloney (nee Menrath) died January 9, 2025. Judy was born February 15, 1944, as the fifth child of Evelyn C. and Michael A. Menrath. She was preceded in death by her sister Violet Oelker and her brother John (Jack) Menrath. 

Survived by her husband Lee Beran; one daughter Joanne Maloney and one granddaughter Alexis (Lexi) Black; two brothers Michael Menrath (Beverly) and Bill Menrath (Lee Crooks); and many nieces, nephews, great- and great-great nieces, and nephews. 

Judy earned her Associate and BS from UC evening college and her Masters from XU in the accounting and finance field. She was a member of the Phi Kappa Epsilon Evening Sorority at UC. She worked for a number of different businesses including Chiquita and The Cincinnati Reds. She retired in 2009.

 In her retirement she kept busy with teaching CW line dancing.She taught at various venues. She held regular line dance classes at A-Marika dance studio in Sharonville. She was a member of the St Michael Catholic Church in Sharonville and volunteered at the St Michael's Festival, the Christmas giving tree and other events. She was on the Board of A-Marika's DS Foundation and volunteered weekly to help with ballroom dancing for adults with disabilities. She was a member of the West Chester Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association and the Sharonville Citizen's Police Academy.

Visitation will take place on Monday January 13, 2025 from 9am until the time of mass beginning at 10 am, at St Michael's Catholic Church in Sharonville (11144 Spinner Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45241). The burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
