It is with great sadness that Mistie and I announce the passing of our SuperHero Justin. From 27 Jan 15 when Justin was diagnosed with DIPG until he took his last breath at 7:29 pm on 1 Jul 15 he lived up to the title Super Hero and fought to the end. Justin's passing was peaceful and he was surrounded by his family.

We want to personally thank each and every one of you for your support, generosity, and love as we stood by Justin's side 24 hours a day. It's from your support, prayers, good vibes, hopeful thoughts and strong love that we were able to fight with Justin.

As hard as it is to say goodbye to our only son, and to forget about all of the dreams, hopes and aspirations that will never be we know he is in heaven with our Heavenly Father and we know he no longer has to lay in a hospital bed and feel any pain. We are sure that Justin is either batting his long eye lashes at a girl and flirting or running around doing a scare cam and enjoying being his fun crazy self.

This is a celebration of Justin’s life and we’re asking all attendees to please feel free to dress up as your favorite Super Hero or a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, military uniform or wear something very BRIGHT!!

Visitation for our Super Hero will take place at the Hodapp Funeral Home 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., Wednesday July 8th from 9am until the Celebration of Justin's Life at 11am.

Finally, in lieu of flowers we’re asking that donations are made to the Greater Cincinnati/Dayton Dragonfly Foundation in Justin’s name. The funds will be used to support other families that are battling cancer.
