Karen Andrea Spletzer

Karen Spletzer MD. Age 61 of Liberty Twp. passed away on March 2, 2023. Karen was born in Cincinnati and graduated from Finneytown High School. She was her class valedictorian. She went on to get her bachelors degree from the University of Toledo and her medical degree from The Ohio State University. After graduation from OSU, Karen attended Dartmouth College where she did a residency in anesthesiology. She eventually returned to the Cincinnati area where she was an anesthesiologist. She had a passion and talent for making stained glass jewelry, and gold bracelets and necklaces in her spare time. Karen leaves behind her brothers Eric andCraig (Robin) Spletzer along with her niece Carly. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or the American Parkinson Disease Association.
