Keith Murphy

Murphy, Keith Lamarr Beloved husband of Mary M. Murphy (nee Slayton). Loving father of Lori (Keith) Roberts, Denise (Tom) Zigler, Amy Murphy, Johvan (Diana) Slayton, Jennifer (John) Grimes and the late Cassandra Earls. Keith was also survived by 29 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and leaves behind Scott and Yulaunda Kiser who were like children to Keith, many friends and extended family. Brother of Richard (Donna) Murphy, Karen (Kenneth) Hurst and Tamara Murphy. Preceded in death by his granddaughter Alyse Lenzer, sisters Cynthia Pillion and Marty Hamsfeld and parents Charles and Frieda Murphy. Keith served in the United States Army for 21 years and completed 3 tours in Vietnam. He also retired from the Lebanon Correctional Facility. Passed away March 7, 2016 at the age of 72. Visitation will be held Friday, March 11, 2016, at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Graveside service to follow at Butler County Memorial Park.  Memorial donations may be made to the Dayton V.A. Hospice Unit.
