Kenneth Edward Kalisewicz passed away on May 29, 2024, after a long battle with multiple health issues.
Ken was born on August 19, 1944 in Wyandotte, Michigan. After graduating from Roosevelt High School, he served in the Army for 2 years. He was a Vietnam war veteran. Ken was a lifelong employee of Ford Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan and Visteon Corporation in Connersville, Indiana, where he was a master industrial electrician.
Ken's life revolved around his family. He enjoyed vacationing with his wife at the beach; he loved spending time with his daughters; and he loved watching his beautiful granddaughters romping around having a good time. He was a dog lover and spent many hours with his devoted dog.
Ken had a very calm and steady presence and was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He had a strong interest in aviation and boating. He will be dearly missed.
Ken is survived by his loving wife Sandra Kalisewicz of 52 years, his daughters Susan Kalisewicz and Leslie Hinchcliffe, and his darling granddaughters Elena and Madeleine Hinchcliffe. He is the brother of Elaine Russ, Barbara Kalisewicz and Helene Dillman, and brothers-in-law John Russ and Paul Dillman.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son Robert Kalisewicz, Bobby, his father and mother, Edward and Lorraine Kalisewicz, and his brother, Michael Kalisewicz.
Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be a Catholic Mass at St. John the Evangelist, 9080 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., West Chester, OH 45069, at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
