Kenneth P. Wilson

WILSON, Kenneth Powell of Daleville, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013. He was born in Elmwood Place, Ohio, on January 3, 1927. He was the son of the late Grover C. Wilson and Ruby Frady Wilson. He is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine (nee Ansteatt); his son, Philip of Irvine, Calif.; his daughter, Claudia Pittenger, of Roanoke, Va.; and five grandchildren, Candice Wilson, Peter Wilson, Julia Wilson, Corinna Pittenger, and Bethany Pittenger; and a sister, Gaila Edwards. He was preceded in death by his brother, John V. Wilson, and his sisters, Naomi Dixon and Bessie Sowder and a grandson, Kenny Wilson. He was a graduate of St. Bernard High School and held degrees in Education from the University of Cincinnati. He taught and served as an instructional supervisor in Cincinnati Public Schools from 1951 to 1988. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Visitation will be held at the Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42) Saturday from 9:30AM until Funeral Service at 11AM.
