Krista Brouillard (Weaver) was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 20th, 1977. She joined her dad in heaven on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, at the age of 46.
She was the beloved daughter of Patsy (Shell) Weaver and the late Bobby Weaver. She was a 1996 graduate of William Mason High School and held an Associate of Science degree as a Pharmacy Technician. She was married to the love of her life, James Brouillard, for 24 years. She was an incredible mother. They raised their daughter, Abigail Brouillard, and son, Luke Brouillard, in Mason, Ohio. She was an amazing sister to Mike (Leslee) Weaver, and Jason (Lori) Weaver, and the renowned “Auntie KK” to numerous nieces and nephews.
Krista excelled at the most important thing in her life—her family. She was a devoted daughter who selflessly helped her dad in his battle with cancer. After his passing, she took on the position of running the family business and became the most important presence in the life of her mother. Her importance cannot be overstated. She worked tirelessly with her husband every day to ensure her dad’s business continued for the family’s present and future prosperity. Her love for them was deep and palpable.
She was the best mother and wife, the sister you’d always want by your side, and the friend who’d never let you down. You could always count on her love and loyalty. With grace, she spoke truthfully, remaining authentic to herself and upholding integrity in every circumstance.
Like her dad, Krista’s favorite place was Edisto Island, South Carolina. As a family, we endured the 5-car caravan, and the hourly bathroom breaks on our journey to her earthly promise land. For close to 30 years, you would find her searching for shark’s teeth in her patented Krista stance—hands clasped behind her back and eyes scouring the sand. Krista cherished the captivating moments watching baby sea turtles hatch under the moonlit sky.
Her smile, energy, and belly laugh were contagious. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, yet her spirit remains ever-present. She will forever be remembered—in the rising sun, the rolling sea, and the warmth of the sand.
