Laurence Lane, Jr.

LANE, Laurence Jr., son of the late Laurence "Ted" and Mildred Lane, preceded in death by siblings Tom, Jean, Danny, Vicki, and his adoring grand-dog Max; survived by Jerry (LeeAnn) and sister Linda Wilson; beloved husband of Virginia (Forrest) Lane, devoted father of Laura Hendricks (Joseph), Tricia Lane, and Nathan Lane (Halla); doting grandfather of Julia Lane Hendricks, Lauren Grace Hendricks, and Laila Naomi Lane; loving uncle to a host of nieces and nephews; faithful member and Trustee of the Highland Avenue Baptist Church; veteran of the United States Army. Passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on July 15, 2016, at the age of 71. Memorials can be made to the Highland Avenue Baptist Church. Visitation on July 22, 2016, from 5-8 P.M. at the Hodapp Funeral Home in Carthage; Funeral Service on July 23, 2016, at 10 A.M. at the Highland Avenue Baptist Church, with visitation from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M., followed by burial at the Crown Hill Memorial Park.
