LaVerne G. Stratmann

LaVerne G. Stratmann (nee Huening) passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the age of 87. LaVerne was preceded in death by her Husband Frank A. Stratmann and Sister Shirley (Al) Walrauch (nee Huening). She is survived by Linda Fitzpatric (William), MaryJane Stratmann, Michael Stratmann, Daniel Stratmann (Ramona) and Anne Stratmann (Chad) all of Cincinnati. Grandchildren: Colleen (Craig) Doty, William (Michele) Fitzpatric, Meghan (John) Hibbard, Brian White, Colin (Laura) White, Jenny (Pippin) Rush, Michael (Andreia) Stratmann, Ramey Stratmann, Tyler Stratmann and Zachary Stratmann, and 14 Great-grandchildren.
LaVerne was born on June 18th, 1928 in Reading, Ohio. LaVerne’s joy in life was her family, especially enjoying the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She volunteered at The Drake Hospital for 20 years until moving to the Mason community where she became a member of the Saint Susanna Parish and continued her volunteer efforts as needed.
Family will receive friends at Saint Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040 from 10:30am – 11:30am with Mass following at 11:30am on Thursday, December 10th. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, American Heart Association and Hospice of Cincinnati.
