HEITZMAN, LaVerne Rita (nee Meyer) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 3, 2015. Beloved wife for 63 years of the late Fred A. Heitzman Jr. Mother of Judd (Cindy), Jeff (Debbie), Tom (Richard), Cinder Beuerlein and Andy (Melanie). Grandmother of Lindsay, Michael, Matthew, Elise, Katie, Luke, Audrey and Logan. Great-grandmother of Andrew. Sister of Al Meyer. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Born in Cincinnati on January 30, 1925, she attended the University of Cincinnati before raising her family. Her love for nature and welcoming smile will be missed. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Good Shepherd Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249 at 12 noon on Thursday, January 8, 2015. A short reception will follow, with a private burial at Spring Grove Cemetery.
