Lawrence Cox

COX, Lawrence of West Chester, OH passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. He leaves behind his wife, Barbara, of 58 years. Dear father of Diana (Brent Hawkes) Bussell. Loving grandfather of Ian (Samantha) Cox and Tyler Bussell and his greatest joy, great granddaughter of Ellie Lynne Cox. Beloved son of the late Charles and Ida Cox. He is survived by his sister Cathy (Dale) Farmer and his brothers, Art (the late Barbara), Cecil (Patty), and Phillip (Marybeth). Larry was a proud Firefighter (1963-1968) and Police Officer (1968-1977) of the first West Chester Fire Dept. and the first West Chester Police Department. He continued to be a reserve officer until 1979. He spent time in Evendale from 1962-1996. He enjoyed being an auctioneer from 1968-2017. He will be greatly missed. There will be no funeral services. A memorial donation in his name can be made through the American Cancer Society.
