Larry Boehmer, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23rd, at the age of sixty-seven. Born on May 28th, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to parents Thomas and Katherine (nee Furey) Boehmer. Larry was a longtime resident of St. Bernard, Ohio, and a proud graduate of Roger Bacon High School, Class of 1976. Larry dedicated over 35 years of his life working at Procter & Gamble, where he was well-known for his strong work ethic.

Larry spent his life in service to his family, his church, and his community, touching the hearts of all who knew him. In 2019, Larry was honored by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and the sisters of Notre Dame de Namur as demonstrating the values of Sister Dorthy Stang, in solidarity with the poor and the Earth, a commitment to Catholic social teaching, and a love for Jesus and his mission.

Larry cherished his wife, Eileen, of 45 years. He was dedicated to his children and grandchildren, who affectionately called him "Papaw," always attending their events and cheering them on. Larry was a devoted sports fan, proudly rooting for the Cincinnati Bengals, UC Bearcats, USI Volleyball, and all sports that his children and grandchildren played.

Larry was known to all as a kind and easygoing man who had a remarkable ability to make those around him feel valued and cherished. He enjoyed bass fishing and going on many memorable trips with his close friends over the years. He was devoted to his community, volunteering regularly at the St. Clement food pantry, and dedicating his time to getting people back on their feet, partnering with St. Vincent de Paul.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Eileen (nee Fitzpatrick) Boehmer; his children, Scott (Amanda) Boehmer, Kimberly (Carroll) Coffman, and Nicholas (Kelly) Boehmer; his grandchildren, Ava, Nolan, Austin, Lily, Peyton, Olivia, and Colt; his siblings, Mary Kay (Denny) Harmeyer, Bob (Janet) Boehmer, and Steve (Rita) Boehmer; as well as many nieces and nephews.
