Lawrence "Larry" Tanner

TANNER, Lawrence Edward "Larry", of West Chester, Ohio, lost his battle to Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS) on Monday, February 22, 2016, at age 79. Survived by his beloved wife Patricia "Pat" Tanner (nee Hearney) for 49 years. Loving father of Tara (Dan) Brake, Jillian (Matt) Garretson, and Lori (David) Schenck. Dear grandfather of Katie, Jaclyn, Annie, Samuel, Liam, Jacob, Maddie, James, and Emi. Brother of Warren (Kay) Tanner and Leah (Ken) Fowler. Graduate of Northern Illinois University, a member of TKE and the gymnastic team. Served in the United States Marine Corps. Worked as an aviation salesman for BP and Texaco. Loved his family, flying, tennis, skiing, gardening and fishing. Memorial Visitation will be held at Crestview Presbyterian Church,  9463 Cincinnati Columbus Rd., West Chester, OH 45069, on Friday (2/26) from 10 am until time of service at 12 noon.
