Leon Henson Tate Sr.

Leon Henson Tate Sr. (“Tater”) June 13, 1943 – September 12, 2010, age 67. Beloved Husband of Helen Tate for 28 years. Loving Father of Lisa Tate, Sharon Stier, Leon Tate, Rodney Tate and step-father of John Culbertson, Dave Culbertson, Teri House, and Sheri Mobley. A proud grandpa of 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren who loved him dearly. He was the ROCK of our family and the glue that held us together. He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and Resided in Butler County He entered into eternal life with the lord after a long battle with cancer. Preceded in death is his Mother Velma Tate, his Father Howard Tate, 3 Brothers, 4 Sisters, and 1 grandchild. Survived by Mom Phillips sister Margie Wilson and many other family and friends. The Service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
