Levi Neal Shepherd

SHEPHERD, Levi N. Dear brother of Mary (Jeff) Pencil and the late Duane and Jacob Shepherd. Beloved son of the late Myles “Pete” and Georgia Shepherd. He is survived by his longtime companion Sherrie Howard and his son Nathan Howard. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Levi passed away Saturday July 12, 2014 at age 49 after a valiant 30 year struggle with dialysis and kidney disease. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Wednesday from 4 PM until funeral service at 6 PM. Graveside service to be held at New Carlisle Cemetery, New Carlisle, OH, Thursday at 10 AM. Memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation. Condolences at hodappfuneralhome.com.
