HALE-BRADFORD, Reverend Lillie Belle, joined Jesus in the early hours of Sunday morning, December 20, 2015. She was comforted by her husband and son as she left this world. Lung disease took her body but her spirit and soul will live eternally. She leaves behind her devoted husband of seven years Harley Bruce Bradford, her two sons: Thomas L. Hale and Timothy R. Hale (Angela), her four grandchildren; Thomas M. Hale, Tammy L. Burkel, Amber L. Mulvey (Jacob) and Terry K. Campbell and a new great grandbaby Grayson M. Mulvey. She is also survived by her brother Harry Gault (Betty) and two sisters; Betty Payen and Sue Folenius (Bobby) and dear friend Ruth King. She will reunite with her family: Bobby R. Hale, Gina L. Hale, and brothers; Eugene, Jesse Jr., and William Gault. Lillie was born October 30, 1934. She was one of seven children raised in Jellico, Tennessee. She married Bobby Ray at 19 and together they raised two children, fostered many, and established several churches. They were married for 49 years until Bobby lost a hard fought battle to cancer. God had special plans for Lillie as he led her into the loving arms of Bruce. The two were married in 2008 and continued serving the Lord together. Lillie pastored for over 60 years. She dedicated her life to helping others and showing Christ's compassion. Anyone who sat at her table never went home without feeling loved, and extremely full. She lived a truly humble life and will be missed by so so many. The funeral will be held on Saturday December 26 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Ave., College Hill. Visitation is from 10am -12pm and the service will start at noon. The burial will immediately follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
