Linda J. Smith

SMITH, Linda J. (nee Tomes). Beloved wife of the late Michael W. Smith. Loving mother of Denise (Jim) Vestring and Laura (Jake) Campbell. Doting and loving grandma of Rob and Josh Vestring and Kara Lynn and Luke Campbell. Dear sister of Judy (Dallas) Lewallen and the late Norma (Bob) Barnett, Don (Nancy), Arthur (Agnes), Lansing (Betty) and Jasper (Hazel) Tomes and Jack Kidder. Linda is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Linda taught at Kingsway for many years and was a long-time employee of Tri-Health. She also attended Cornerstone Church. She loved to write poetry and loved animals. She loves her Lord and has gone to spend eternity with Him. Passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017, at age 72. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St, Carthage, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. Funeral service Thursday 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment follows at Oak Hill Cemetery in Glendale.
