Linville Eugene Ruckel, 88, of West Chester, Ohio, died March 2, 2018 at home.
He was born in Eubank, Kentucky on June 12, 1929 to Henry and Ruby Ellen (Spaw) Ruckel.
He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and moved to Cincinnati after returning home.
He worked for Proctor and Gamble for over 30 years and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. He would have celebrated his 65th wedding anniversary this year.
He is survived by his wife Doris Lee (Hibbard) Ruckel, three sons, Danny L. (Jane Anthony) Ruckel of Hamilton OH, Ricky L. Ruckel of West Chester, OH and Scott E. (Summer) Ruckel of Taylor Mill, Ky, six greatly loved grandchildren, Emily (David Stillman) Ruckel, Evan Anthony-Ruckel, Colin Anthony-Ruckel, Ashley (Matt) Joyner, Jonathan Ruckel, David (Kalia) Ruckel and three treasured great grandchildren, Owen Ruckel-Stillman, Madeline Ruckel-Stillman and Liam Joyner.
Lin also leaves brothers and sisters, Louis (Peggy) Ruckel, Loyd (Donna) Ruckel, Wilma Jean Daniels, Betty Jane (Tommy) Allen and Leland Ruckel.
Lin was preceded in death by his beloved son Kenneth W. Ruckel, three brothers, William Ray Ruckel, Larry Ruckel and Leonard Ruckel, sister Juanita Ruckel Back and his parents.
Visitation will be held at 10am, Monday, March 5 at Landmark Baptist Chapel in Glendale. A funeral service will follow at 11am with burial and graveside service at the church cemetery.
