Lisa M. Yangula

Lisa Marie (Grzybek) Yangula died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 27, 2019 in her home in Liberty Twp, OH. Lisa was born in New Kensington, PA on June 15, 1957. She married Kenneth Joseph Yangula on May 14, 1977. They traveled the world together while Ken was in the US Navy. They had 3 amazing children together; Kelly (Mike) Asfour of Ft. Wayne, IN, Julie (Chad) Hollenshead of Trenton, OH and J.T. (Jessica Woehrmeyer) Yangula of Liberty Twp, OH and 7 grandchildren. She is survived by her parents Tom and Darlene Grzybek of New Kensington, PA, one sister Lori (Jeff) Bartlett and one brother Tommy Grzybek of New Kensington, PA.

Lisa may have only had 3 children and 7 grandchildren of her own, but she was known far and wide as Momma Lisa. Not all family is blood. She was a mom we all loved. She was a solid rock; a safe haven to all who knew her. The Yangula household was always a home of no judgment, a place to escape, to fill your belly and find a cozy bed.

Lisa was a strong woman...a straight shooter. She would listen to your problems and tell you straight out how it was with a hug. And her hugs were legendary.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, from 3pm-7pm at Liberty Heights Church, 7904 Princeton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, followed by a short funeral service starting at 7pm.

Visitation will also take place at Rusiewicz Funeral Home, 3124 Leechburg Rd., Lower Burrell, PA 15068, on Thursday, May 2, 2019, from 9am until time of funeral service at 11am followed by interment at St Mary Cemetery.
