JENKINS, Lizzie Mae (nee Cooper)

Beloved mother of Lorrie Jenkins and Christopher Jenkins. Loving sister of Kathleen Cotton, Gaylon Cooper, and the late Dallas Cooper, Rev. John Cooper, and Oliver Cooper. Lizzie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church (Arkansas), Les Madames, White Rose Club, NEA (National Education Association), and Eastern Star. She graduated from Shorter College with a teaching degree, Philander Smith College and a Master’s degree in Reading from Arkansas State University in 1989. She came to Cincinnati in 2005 and became a member of Living Word Fellowship. She enjoyed her time with their mission group. Her favorite color was pink and she liked bingo. Lizzie was a collector of teddy bears. Lizzie passed away Friday, December 15, 2017. Visitation will take place at Living Word Fellowship, 9781 Fields Ertel Rd, Loveland, OH 45140, on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 12 Noon.
