Lloyd “Butch” Chalk, age 79, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Loveland Health Care. Born October 30, 1939 in West Chester, OH and a graduate of Princeton High School. He is proceeded in death by his parents Lloyd “Pappy” and Madeline (Schmidt) Chalk, brother Timothy “Roscoe” and Raymond Chalk, sister Donna “Susie” (Chalk) Walters and brother-in-law Richard “Dick” Ruhl; He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Myrla (Sullivan) Chalk, loving father to Katherine (Chalk) and Craig Gabbard, Kimberly (Chalk) Alfrey and Lloyd “Bud” and Kati Chalk and Debbie and Danny Chalk; Papaw to Ariadna and Jesus De Leon, Nathan and Nicholas Alfrey; Great-Papaw to Sophia and Alexandra De Leon; Beloved brother to Patricia (Chalk) Ruhl, Nancy (Chalk) and Gene Burnell, Wayne Walters and Doris (Chalk) Connelly and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and “adopted” kids from the neighborhood. A successful business owner, he never did anything on a small scale. He loved his trains, John Wayne westerns, bowling, landscaping, pitching horseshoes and helping others. He was the king of one-liners, he always had something witty to say. He was one of a kind. Visitation will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd.
