Thornton, Lois W. (nee Evans). Beloved wife of the late Stanford L. Thornton. Loving daughter of Charlie and Pauline Evans. Beloved Great Aunt of Kim (Mark) Trinkle and Great Great Aunt of their daughter Madison Trinkle. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Special friend of Regina Reisenburg, Ron Hennecke, Linda Miller and Jeanette Bently. Lois was loved by anyone she met. She was a member at Christ’s Church at Mason since 1965 and a lunch lady at Mason Middle School for 22 years retiring at the age of 75, where she enjoyed the children and the blessing of her lunch lady friends. Passed away March 23, 2016, at the age of 83. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will take place Monday in Peterstown , WV. Memorial Donations may be made to Christ’s Church at Mason 5165 Western Row Road Mason, OH 45040 or Hospice of Southwest Ohio Foundation 7625 Camargo Road Cincinnati, OH 45243.
