Beloved of the late Walter Lewis for 65 years.  Loving mother of Teresa (Richard) Keith.  Cherished grandmother of Deana Ransom and Nickola Sanders.  Devoted great-grandmother of Mason Hardesty, Jacob Allen and Nola Ransom

Dear Sister of the late Anna Jean Carroll and Phyllis Wagner.

Dear sister in law to Dottie (the late Elmer) Lewis, Glenna (the late Delmar) Lewis, Jay (the late Ray) Lewis, The Late Elena (the late Noah) Crase, The late Louse (the late Herman) Lewis, The late Edna (the late Bill) Davis, and The late Rita (the late Otis) Collins.

Loretta is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Loretta started her working career in retail sales with well known stores, Sears and Mabley and Carew for more than 17 years.

In 1977 Loretta joined Trinity Baptist Church in Hartwell Ohio and spent 43 years working with the children of Trinity.  She has taught Children's Sunday school preschool through 6^th grade.  Her love for sharing God's love to the children's division so they would know about Jesus and how Jesus loved all the children.  She also served as the Children's Sunday School director.  In 1985 while still teaching the Children's division and serving as director she became the Church Secretary which she filled that role for 25 years.  Loretta retired from the Church Secretary in order to stay at home with her newborn great grandchild Nola. 

Loretta passed away at home on January 4 2024 at the age of 86 surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will take place at Hodapp Funeral home in Carthage at the corners of Vine St and North Bend Rd.
