Lucille (nee Godbey) Gruber, originally from Casey County, KY, age 89. Passed peacefully on December 8, 2016 at her home in Mason, OH from heart failure. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Martin S. Gruber and her beloved son Martin S. Gruber Jr. Survived by her loving daughter Martha (Erik) Peters and devoted son Gary A. Gruber. Loving grandmother of Beth (Jeff) Harrison, Frank Peters and Nick Peters, Cherise Nicole Gruber and Marti A. Gruber. Loving great grandmother of Francesca, Naomi, Amelia and Annika Peters and Seth and Luke Harrison. Also survived by dear cousins Agnes (Wilhelm) Young of Somerset, KY and Norma Godbey of Lexington, KY and sister-in-law of Ginny Gruber of Woodlawn, OH. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Visiting Nurses Hospice (513-345-8010), who was there for us every step of the way. Hodapp Funeral Home serving the family.
