Lucille M. Coleman (nee Merritt)

Lucille M. Coleman (nee Merritt) of Springdale passed away peacefully on March 6, 2021 at the age of 91. Born in Cleveland and settling in Cincinnati with her GE employed, engineer husband, “Lu” was an area piano player and enthusiastic volunteer for WMKV radio. She was also one of the early accompanists for the Village Voices choral group.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Leonard and Nellie Merritt; her husband, Hank; her son, Tom; and her brother, Warren. Survived by: son Steve (Pam) Coleman; Two grandchildren, Jeff Coleman and Jennifer (Josh) Gerstner ; two great grandchildren, Addy and Crosby and many, many friends of Bill.
A visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd. (Rt 42), West Chester, OH 45069 on Friday, March 12 from 10 until the time of service at 11 with burial immediately following the service.
In lieu of flower, donations can be made to WMKV Radio at Maple Knoll Village.
