Margaret Dora Kattelmann

KATTELMANN, Margaret Dora, age 95 of Woodlawn, OH passed away Sunday, August 23, at her home of 73 years. Margaret was born on August 7, 1914 in Kenwood, OH to Wilhelm and Wilhemina Friedrichs (Kappelmann). Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Fred Kattelmann. She is the loving mother of 3 daughters, Dolores (Beryl) Chandler, Shirley (Larry) Mohrfield, and Sandra (Gary) Bates, 9 grandchildren, David Chandler, Terry Dolenc, Holly Nichols, Virginia Sullivan, Vonda Koopmans, Kristi Steele, Lance Bates, Lorne Bates, Michelle Bates, 16 great-grandchildren, Conner, Crystal, Samuel, Katie, Maggie, Jackie, Alex, Kelsi, Brandi, Grant, Savannah, Jackson, Bryson, Owen, Adam, Emma, three step great-grandchildren, Bess, Bailey, and Brian. Margaret was preceded in death by 7 sisters and 2 brothers, William Friedrichs, Emma Henke, Minnie Heinrich, Ida Friedrichs, Marie Koldzik, Elsie Kolthoff, Ann Seilkop, Herman Suedoff and Alma Henke. She graduated from St. Paul Lutheran School in Madisonville, OH in 1927, married her beloved Fred in 1935 and together they created Meadowview Dairy which later became Fred Kattelmann Dairy. After selling the dairy in 1963, she worked at the Milicron and spent many tireless hours volunteering her talents at the Mitchell Center. Margaret loved to play volleyball and travel with her husband. Friends may call at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 106 Maple in Reading, Saturday morning from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at 10:30 A.M.
